A beautiful courtyard

Jazz Dream Nagashima is relatively quiet on weekdays, making for a much more relaxed shopping experience. Queues are rare, and the spacious surroundings make it easy to browse at your own pace. You might be surprised at just how leisurely outlet shopping can be!

Visitor numbers can be around three times higher on weekends and holidays than on weekdays, and popular stores may even issue numbered tickets to manage crowds. If your schedule is flexible, visiting on a weekday is highly recommended.

3. Choose Your Stores and Plan Your Route in Advance

The mall is enormous and divided into three areas: South, North, and Parkside. Seeing everything in a single day may be difficult, and wandering around without a plan can quickly become tiring. Check the floor guide on the official website, choose the stores you want to visit, and map out your route in advance to save both time and energy.

Nabana no Sato
Nagashima Spa Land

Many outlet malls are located outside city centers, so visitors often go there just to shop and head home afterward, spending the entire day at the mall. One reason we recommend Jazz Dream Nagashima is that several well-known attractions are located nearby, making it easy to combine shopping with sightseeing.

For example, Nabana no Sato, a flower-themed park about 20 minutes away by bus, features seasonal flowers spread across expansive gardens. From autumn and winter through the following spring, it also hosts one of Japan's largest illumination displays, often described as a spectacular festival of lights that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime.

Nagashima Spa Land, famous for its thrilling rides, is also within walking distance of Jazz Dream Nagashima. The amusement park has 12 different roller coasters, including one with a track length that ranks among the world's longest!

Yuami no Shima

Yuami no Shima is one of Japan’s largest hot spring facilities, within walking distance of Jazz Dream Nagashima. Across the men’s and women’s areas, there are 17 types of baths in total. The bedrock spa (ganbanyoku), one of the largest in Japan, includes a relaxation lounge stocked with manga and magazines, and there are plenty of dining options as well. It’s a great pick for anyone who wants to experience Japanese hot spring culture in a well-equipped facility.

It's entirely possible to spend the morning at the amusement park, shop at the outlet mall in the afternoon, and enjoy Nabana no Sato's illuminations in the evening. It's a great way to make the most of your valuable vacation time.
