Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium (Dolphin's Arena), is a multi-purpose gymnasium in which sporting events, the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament, music concerts, and more are held in addition to an indoor pool, boxing ring, and other facilities. The Grand Sumo Tournament held in July (Nagoya Basho), a popular summer event in Nagoya, was held at Nagoya Kanayama Gymnasium between 1958 and 1964 until the completion of the Dolphin's Arena in 1965. As well as being host to the Grand Sumo Tournament, the gymnasium hosts regular professional boxing, and professional wrestling matches and title matches.

SUBWAY

Take the Higashiyama line heading to Fujigaoka, from Nagoya station to Sakae station for about 5 mins.
Take the Meijo line clockwise heading to Shiyakusho/Ozone station from Sakae station to Shiyakusho station for about 3 mins.
After getting off the subway walk for 5 minutes.

Take the Sakura-dori line heading to Tokushige, from Nagoya station to Hisaya-odori station for about 6 mins.
Take the Meijo line clockwise heading to Shiyakusho/Ozone station from Hisaya-odori station to Shiyakusho station for about 2 mins.
After getting off the subway walk for 5 minutes.
