A Fantasy World Covered in Moss
Heisenji Temple has been known as a spiritual place for 1,300 years. It was was home to 8,000 warrior monks and was Japan's largest Buddhist city at the time. At first a Shinto shrine, then a Buddhist temple, and now a Shinto shrine once more, it's an interesting place with a long history. Its paved paths from 1,000 years ago remain even now.
