Former Konoe Residence is a late Edo-era building that was partly relocated from the residence of the Konoe family, a former Kyoto noble family. The building has a study and a tea room. Matcha tea is served here (with seasonal Japanese sweets for a fee). Why don't you take some time to relax while looking at the garden from the engawa (Japanese porch)?
