Sessokyou Onsen is a famous hot spring, one stop from Oku-Oi Kouge Station at Sessokyou Onsen Station. It is known for its rejuvenating hot spring, which removes unwanted keratin from the skin and dirt from the pores. At Sessokyou Onsen Kaikan, you can take a one-day trip for a bath or have a meal. Try the roast beef from Kakegawa or curry with beef tendon and cold noodles available in the summer. Soft-serve ice cream using Kawane tea, a specialty of Kawanehoncho, is perfect for dessert. On the second floor of the spa is a resting area, perfect for taking a break during your trip.
