The World's Most Beautiful Train Station
A travel magazine in the US called Kanazawa Station one of the most beautiful train stations in the world. It was originally conceived as a giant glass umbrella. The sunlight refracted through the glass in summer and the nightly illumination is breathtaking. The train's lighting is further enhanced through projection mapping. When you arrive at the station you can see traditional crafts decorating the station as if they were on display at a museum. Of course, the station is home to numerous restaurants, cafes and souvenirs shops.
