Take the five-minute, 1,108-meter Biwa lakeside ropeway ride up to Biwa Valley—a refined mountain resort experience. The view from the gondola is extremely beautiful. After getting off at the top, the kids can play on the handmade playground equipment or have a snack at the café. Be sure to snap a photo at the top with the spectacular scenery in the background.
