A Ninja Training Ground
In a canyon stretching about four kilometers across exists a number of waterfalls and hiking courses, various wild animal species and in particular a giant salamander that is oft-referred to as a "Living Rock". This area has been selected as one of Japan's greatest natural areas for its waterfalls, forest and hiking trails. It was once a training ground for ninja. Visitors can even rent ninja garb to wear as they traverse the the canyon.
