Gero Onsen Gassho Mura (下呂温泉合掌村) is an outdoor museum made of gassho-style (合掌) houses relocated from Shirakawa-go (白川郷) and other locations. Here, you can see how people lived in the past.
There is a folk museum, Gassho no Sato (合掌の里), a village which offers many workshops, and also Saijiki no Mori (歳時記の森), a village with cherry blossoms and autumn leaves where you can feel the spirit of the Hida people (飛騨人 / Hidajin).
