Fukui is the city where most dinosaurs are found in Japan. "Fukuisaurus" and "Fukuiraptor", their names are both from "Fukui" where they were first discoverd. In this dinosaur kingdom, there are not only various dinosaur fossils excavated in Fukui, but also dinosaurs from all over the world. There are an amazing 42 dinosaur bone specimens.

Take Tokaido Shinkansen from Nagoya Staion to Maihara Station (36 minutes),
take JR Shirasagi from Maihara Station to Fukui Station (1.5 hours),
take Echizen Train Katsuyama Eiheiji-Line from Fukui Station to Katsuyama Station,
take Community Bus from Katsuyama Station to Dinosaur Museum (15 minutes).
