Tokugawa Iseyasu's Okazaki Castle was renovated in 1959 to its former glory. Its main keep has 3 main sections and 5 floors—chosen in 2006 as one Japan's most important 100 castles. Each floor of the castle represents a different aspect of the castle's history. You'll find a number of displays and dioramas introducing you to the history of Okazaki. If you venture up to the 5th floor you'll be treated a spectacular view of the surrounding city and you can have your picture displayed on the photo wall alongside other castle guests.
