From the entrance to Adera Gorge, you can walk along the river. Check out the photogenic spots, such as Kitsunegahuti, Tanukigahuti, Inugaerinohuti, and Rokudannotaki. You can also get close to the riverside, and feel the beauty of Japan's water. On and after rainy days, the water level rises. It is not safe to go near the river at those times.

Directions

From Nagoya Station, take the JR Chuo Honsen Line to Nakatsugawa Station (approx. 1 hour 13 minutes). At Nakatsugawa Station, change trains for Matsumoto and go to Nojiri Station (about 29 minutes). From Nojiri Station to Adera Gorge, it takes about 16 minutes on foot, or you can take the Kuwachan bus (5 outbound trips and 6 inbound trips per day) It takes about 11 minutes to get there by train.
