Wadahama Beach calm and gentle, and the view of Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji is fantastic. Many people enjoy fishing in the sea for Japanese whiting, yellowtail, and more, but even if you are not a fisherman, the view is impressive. Slopes, benches, toilets and lights have been installed along 4km of coastline from Ishizu-hama to Wadahama beach, and the beach is a popular place for rest and relaxation.

Directions	Directions: It takes 2 hours and 30 minutes, ¥6,430 one way From Nagoya Station, take the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen Kodama to Kakegawa Station (60 minutes). From JR Kakegawa Station, board a train bound for Atami on the Tokaido Main Line and disembark at JR Yaizu Station (approx. 30 mins.). From the Yaizu Eki-mae Bus Stop, take the Isshiki-Wadahama Line bus bound for Yaizu City Hall Entrance (Isshiki Wadahama Line) and get off at Tajirihama Bus Stop (approx. 30 minutes). From the Tajirihama bus stop, it takes approximately 12 minutes on foot to reach Wadahama Beach.
