Anyoji is a Buddhist temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect in the suburbs of Matsumoto City. In addition to its value as a historical site, it is famous for cherry blossoms. There are two giant weeping cherry trees on the temple grounds that are 500 years old, and their reflections in the pond are magical to behold.
