Kobayama Kofun is an ancient burial mound located at the top of the 650-meter-high Mt. Kobo in Matsumoto City, Nagano. It is one of the oldest in eastern Japan, built around the 3rd or 4th century. On the mound, enjoy a panoramic view of the Japanese Northern Alps. The Kofun is one of the best viewing spots when it takes on the color of cherry blossoms in spring.
