Step Into a Hidden World of Nature on the Torokko Electric Train
The 80-minute ride on the Kurobe Gorge Railway connects the hot spring town of Unazuki and the end of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Originally constructed to haul building materials for the Kurobe Dam, it is now a fantastic sightseeing adventure for visitors to the area. You'll pass through tunnels and cross bridges as you see the surrounding nature. The train is quite unique too. There are standard train cars along with open-top cars that really let you get the best view. Experience all this area has to offer!
