A Chance to Relive the Rustic Moutain Life of Old

The Hida Folk Village, located in snowy Gifu, is a great place to see 30 classic Japanese buildings including many thatched-roof village homes and the surrounding natural environment. Inside the homes and village museum, you'll find examples of pre-modern village life including exhibits of daily life and even chances to try your hand at traditional arts and crafts. There are also numerous seasonal events that take place at the Hida Folk Village.
