The 180m tall TV tower, made in 1954, is registered as A tangible cultural property. You can see the amazing scenery of Nagoya city, Ise Bay, and the Chubu Mountains from either the "Sky Deck", an indoor observation deck 90m above ground which is made of glass and provides a 360 degree view, or the "Sky Balcony", an outdoor observation deck 100m high up above ground. It was recognized as one of the best night views in Japan in 2013. The "Kirameki", an illumination display using 10,000 LED lights to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the tower's creation, was made in 2014.

※All Nagoya TV Tower facilities will be closed starting January 7, 2019 due to construction. They will be reopening summer 2020.
