Japan's Longest Slide

The Shizuoka Municipal Nihondaira Zoo is the birthplace of Fuuta, the Red Panda, who became quite famous in Japan. The zoo has raised numerous polar bears and it's also the number one breeder of Giant Ant Eaters in Japan. In recent years, the zoo has been renovated and visitors can now see the animals in a more natural environment. Three of the zoo's most popular spots are the penguin house, the petting zool and Animal House 299. There is also an amusement park for the kids and an observation area where you can get a great view of the area.
