Take a Walk Through the Water with Tropical Fish at Your Feet

The Echizen Matsushima Aquarium specializes in fish from the Japan Sea. They have around 350 species on-hand, including a few rather rare ones. The aquarium's most unique feature is that its tanks are viewable from a number of different angles, giving guests a chance to see the fish from a number of different perspectives. The aquarium puts on a number of shows including dolphin tricks, penguin walks, sea otter feedings and up-close-and-personal time with some seals. Another cool aspect of this aquarium is that the grounds run right into the beach.
