Japan's Largest Lake Museum

The Lake Biwa Museum is Japan's largest collection of freshwater animal exhibits. Listen to what fish hear, take a walk through the water and see the only Baikal seals in Kansai. There's a diorama of an ancient lake scene—complete with fossils and bones. Everything at the museum is there to help guest see, hear, touch, smell and taste. While you're there, be sure to try the black bass rice bowl at the museum restaurant.
