Japanese Garden with Tea Room Designated as a National Treasure
You can enjoy Japanese tea surrounded by a beautiful garden at Kyu-shouden-in-Shoin, an important cultural property. Enjoy a cup of tea out of a cup made using local pottery techniques called Inuyama-yaki, with Japanese sweets which you can only find here. Inside the garden, there is a national treasure tea room called “Kokuho Chashitsu Jo-an,” one of the three most important national treasure tea rooms in Japan. It is a relic of Urakusai, brother of the famous warlord, Oda Nobunaga.This tea room is the only national treasure tea room where you can take a look inside the room.
