Get Up Close and Personal with the Birds
Instead of looking at birds in a cage like most zoos, the Kakegawa Bird House allows visitors to step into their massive greenhouse where the birds are free to fly about and the visitors can get up close to the birds. The greenhouse is fully air-conditioned, so it's a great place to cool off in the summer as well. Have an owl sit on your arm, hug a penguin and take a photo with your new flying friends. There are various bird performances too that you're sure to enjoy. In addition to all the birds, there are a number of beautiful flowers to see no matter what the season.
