Japan's Oldest Wooden Castle
Reconstructed in 1933, Gujo Castle is Japan's oldest reconstructed wooden castle. The beautiful scenery that surrounds the castle, the flowing river and mountains of green, is a fantastic display of nature and a terrific place to take photos. It's often said that the area around Gujo is the most beautiful of all Japan's mountains. Gujo is also famous as Japan's number one producer of plastic food samples, which visitors can try their hand at.
