Okazaki, the birthplace of Tokugawa Ieyasu, has many historical places and spiritual spots that are said to lead us to good fortune. It is also famous for cherry blossoms, especially at night - the Yozakura (Cherry blossoms at night) - which are highly recommended. There are other things to do, such as seeing seasonal flowers (cherry blossoms and wisteria in the spring, the autumn leaves in fall), catching sweetfish, designing Japanese candles, trying on Japanese-style armor, and more.
