1. You Can Interact with Owls at Fukuro No Iru Mori Owl Cafe, in Sakae!

Fukuro No Iru Mori Owl Cafe (ふくろうのいる森カフェ 名古屋栄店/Fukuro No Iru Mori Kafe Nagoya Sakaeten) is located next to Yaba-cho Nadia Park (矢場町ナディアパーク/Yabacho Nadia Paak). It's just as the name suggests a cafe with real Owls!

There are 15 Owls of 12 different breeds, so you can enjoy seeing the many different breeds.

The cafe charges ¥1,300 for the first hour and there is an additional extension fee after that. Free drinks are included and you can take as many photos as you want.

The shops greatest attraction is being able to interact with owls. At the end of your stay, you can choose your favorite owl and take a commemorative photo.

At first sight, you'll see the soft and comforting appearance of an Owl's feathers. They look so gentle you'll want to spend all your time with them.

You can also watch the Owls feed twice daily. If you arrive at the store around 7 pm you can watch them eat their dinner.

Many of the customers here know the charm of owls and have even begun raising them. The store sells many breeds of owls and you can always ask them for advice on raising them.

If you'd like to raise your own owl just talk to the staff!

2. Experience the Healing Power of Cute Otters at Kawauso Friends!

There are many other cute animals like hedgehogs, flying squirrels, prairie dogs and many more.

The Kawauso Friends (かわうそフレンズ/Kawauso Furenzu-Otter Friends) store is on the 5th floor of Yabacho Nakakoma Building along Otsu Dori. There are many cute animals in the store kennels. You will feel their healing effects from the moment you enter the store.

The entry fee includes one drink and is ¥1,500 per hour for junior high school students and up (elementary school students are ¥1,200, Children 1-5 are ¥1,000). For an additional fee, you can feed and interact with the animals.

Saturdays are often crowded so I recommend you reserve in advance.

There are many small animals like hedgehogs, prairie dogs, flying squirrels, and fancy rats.

At the sister store Animal Cook" Zoo (アニマルクックズー) in Showa ward, Nagoya, you can see 80 animals from among 50 species including serval cats and reptiles.

3. Many Fluffy Rabbits at Usagi to Cafe!

There is an animal cafe in Osu where you can meet cute and fluffy rabbits. There are 40 rabbits in the cafe!

There is also a cafe area where you can enjoy a rabbit-themed menu. If you like rabbits, you should go Usagi to Cafe (うさぎとCafe/Usagi to Cafe).

Usagi to Cafe (うさぎとCafe/Usagi to Cafe) is located in Usagi no Wonderland (うさぎのワンダーランド/Usagi no Wandaarando) in the Nakakoma Building in Osu.

At Usagi no Wonderland (うさぎのワンダーランド/Usagi no Wandaarando), you can find goods and cafes related to rabbits. If you love rabbits you won't be able to resist visiting here!

In Usagi to Cafe (うさぎとCafe/Usagi to Cafe), you can interact with rabbits. The fee is ¥1,660 (including one drink) per person, it's a great place to go with friends and children!

This store's best point is that it is safe even for children. If you follow the basic rules, your children can enjoy it safely. For details, please ask the shop attendants.

Our 40 "rabbit staff" will greet you when you visit. There are some very fluffy rabbits as you can see in the picture. You will feel better just by looking at them.

If your timing is right you can even see newly born kits.

The rabbit room is filled with lots of cute rabbits. If there is a rabbit that you like, please speak to the staff. They will take the rabbit out of the cage for you to interact with. The room is divided into small booths, so you can relax and interact with rabbits.

A cafe space is separate from the Rabbit Room, only using the cafe is OK. A variety of menus with rabbit themes are available. They serve drinks and also filling food and sweets.

Usagi to Cafe (うさぎとCafe/Usagi to Cafe) is a place both friends and children can enjoy. It's not only for those who love rabbits but also people who want to interact with animals. Please visit us!

4: At Watadoll Come Into Contact With Very Rare Animals!

Owls, hawks, hedgehogs, flying squirrels, and other unusual animals welcome you to Owl Cafe & Exotic Animal Cafe Wadooru in Yaba-cho.

There are even reptiles such as snakes! At this animal cafe, you can get up close with rare animals cannot be seen easily.

15 owls are there to greet you when you arrive. Many unique owls are available to watch and interact with. You will want to find a favorite of your own.

This hawk is called "Harris's Hawk". It is not dangerous because it is well trained. It can hunt as well.

You can also interact with other uncommon animals such as hedgehogs and flying squirrels. They are so small and cute you'll definately feel their healing power.

This large snake is called the jungle carpet python. It has a total length of 3.5 meters and weighs about 10kg! However, it acts both calm and friendly. It's safe for anyone to put it around their neck.

At Watadoll (わたど～る/Watadoll) the costs are different depending on the length you want to stay. During your time you can interact with any animals. For details, please ask the staff.

You can experience interacting with animals that cannot easily be found. It is highly recommended for people who love rare animals.

5. Cute Hedgehog Cafe, Harry Wood

Harry Wood (ハリーウッド/Hariiuddo) in Nagoya, Sakae is an animal cafe and Nagoya's first special hedgehog cafe!

The shop's tagline is "There are a lot of cute hedgehogs!" What kind of shop could this be it?

The shop is very popular and is always crowded with customers. It is decorated with lots of greenery, to create a healing atmosphere just by looking leisurely at the plants.

There is a special that includes the entrance fee and a snack mill set (for feeding), so if you want to enjoy the cuteness of the hedgehog, this set is recommended.

If you buy a ticket from the vending machine, the staff will explain the details and the characteristics of each hedgehog. Even beginners can rest at ease.

Cute hedgehogs play inside the store and there are a total of 24 hedgehogs, and every day 8 are chosen from the 24 to be in the shop daily. You can watch them, interact with them. For an additional fee, you can feed and take a photo together for your memories.

The hedgehogs are accustomed to interacting with people! There are also gloves available at each seat so you can wear them while interacting with them.
