A Buddhist temple of the Jodo Shinshu sect located in the suburbs of Matsumoto City. In addition to its value as a historical site, the temple is famous for its cherry blossoms. There are two giant weeping cherry trees on the temple grounds that are said to be 500 years old. The reflection of the cherry blossoms in the pond is mystical.
