There are several places to eat in Centrair that are open after 9:00pm or before 7:00am. Whether you want to eat before or after sleeping, these shops may suit your needs.

1. Wakashachiya (Open before 7:00am and after 9:00pm)

Curry udon noodles are their specialty. It may sound a little strange, but it will warm you from your head to your toes in the cold winter weather, and all for a low low price. The thick curry sauce enhances the freshness of udon noodles, and the large serving of kamaboko (fish loaf) and fried tofu is a welcome addition.

2. Tempura Shimo no Isshiki(Open before 7:00)

If you want to grab a last-minute authentic Japanese meal before leaving, then tempura should be on the top of your list. Don't worry that the deep-fried tempura will be too greasy. The fish used here are delivered directly from Issey Port in Aichi. The tempura is fresh and delicious, and pairs nicely with rice. Take-out is available.

3. Freshness Burger (Open before 7:00)

Located in Centrair Hotel, it is relatively expensive but serves the earliest breakfast at the airport, and you can eat here whether you are a guest of the hotel or not. If you need an early breakfast, before 6:30 this is your best choice.

5. Seian Toshomen (Open after 9:00pm)

If you want to have some Chinese delicacies to alleviate your travel fatigue, then Seian Toshomen is the place to go. Especially for Chinese travelers who have just arrived in Japan and are not sure whether they can quickly acclimate to Japanese food, this is a relatively safe choice.

6. Pronto (Open after 9:00pm)

Located next to the Family Mart, in Access Plaza. Compared to other restaurants, it is more like a cafe. Perfect for those who want a light meal, and if it's not too late, it's also a good place to take a break after dinner.

7. Subway (Open after 9:00pm)

If you're afraid of trying something new, play it safe and get a sandwich! Lots of vegetables and meat, at a low price.

9. Convenience Stores

Airport convenience stores are open 24 hours, and some have seating. If you want to get a quick bite at night, they are a good choice. There is a Family Mart in Access Plaza, a Lawson on the 1st floor of Terminal 1, and a Lawson on the 3rd floor of FLIGHT of DREAMS. All are good choices.

Hotels near Chubu International Airport

Of course, if you are in a hurry, but you don't want to spend the night sleeping on chairs, several hotels around the airport are available. Hotel type and prices vary, so make your choice depending on your needs.

TUBE Sq

A capsule hotel, with both regular accommodation and rooms by the hour. They also have a shower-only option (if you don't need a bed) for people in transit. As you'll be sharing space with other travelers, it makes this the cheapest choice of hotels around the airport.

Toyoko INN Central Japan International Airport 1 & 2

Toyoko Inn is a Japanese business hotel chain that is a midway point between capsule hotels and ordinary hotels. It is recommended for travelers who want to have a private room and are budget conscious. A free shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel is provided. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the airport.

Found next to Centrair Sea Traffic Port, it's about a 5-minute walk to Access Plaza. Access Plaza is the transportation hub for the airport. Trains, car rentals, buses, and high-speed boats, are all available to you.

Centrair Hotel is one of the airport's facilities. It is only 100m away from the ticket gate of Chubu International Airport Station and 130m away from the airport ticket counters. The hotel has barrier-free access. The Pacific Side went into operation in October 2018, and the total number of rooms increased to 381.
